Alysha is a mama of two, birthworker, movement artist, bodyworker, and lomi lomi practitioner, living between Los Angeles, Maui, and Trinidad and Tobago W.I. A native to Los Angeles with Indo-Caribbean/Irish roots, she is interested in providing compassionate, culturally centered postpartum care to families across the globe while weaving art, culture, nature, and healing. She is currently working on a Postpartum Revival Zine focused on researching traditional postpartum care practices in Trinidad, while also working as a Grant Coordinator for Pacific Birth Collective to resource her community on Maui. It is her joy to honor new mothers and advocate for the importance of mama care through her business: Embodied Motherhood.
