Like most new moms today, I learned about my needs and those of my babies the challenging way. Reading books and taking advice from others was all I had as I journeyed through each unique pregnancy, birth, and difficult postpartum experience of my own two littles. While that might be the end of the story for some, I was determined more than ever to learn how I might be able to serve others while sharing my experiences and strive to be the best mom I could be. With that goal in mind,  I left my corporate career behind and started my pursuit of early childhood and parent education over 20 years ago.  Through my time in early childhood education, I have also received training in multiple disciplines including lactation education, newborn care certification, Brain Gym, Parent Effectiveness Training (PET), Parenting from the Heart, and Early Childhood Development in Reggio Emilia, Italy.  During my teaching, I was approached by a parent to be their birth doula.  Feeling honored to serve, guide, and heal families from womb through the toddler years has been a huge blessing in my life.
